Established in 2023 as an extension of Playtime Portraits Childcare and Preschool Photography, Playtime Portraits Plus brings together two passionate photographers with a combined 50 years of experience to create a magical Christmas photography experience. After a sell-out success in our first year, we’re excited to bring this festive service back annually as a holiday pop-up in the Cook Parade Neighbourhood Centre, St Clair . With expertise in children’s photography, we’ve crafted every detail—from enchanting backdrops to memorable Santa interactions—to make this a truly unforgettable experience for families.
Meet the Team
Chett – Co-Founder & Lead Photographer
Hi, I’m Chett, the proud owner of Playtime Portraits, specialising in childcare and preschool photography, and now the co-founder of Playtime Portraits Plus. I hold diplomas in both Childcare Studies and Photography, with a deep-rooted passion for capturing meaningful family moments. My early career was in childcare, where I served as a director at a Uniting Care childcare centre for 10 years. This experience nurtured my understanding of children’s needs and emotions, which has become invaluable in my work as a photographer. As a mother of two daughters, with a big extended family I’m very family-oriented, which is why family photography holds such a special place in my heart. I understand the importance of preserving those fleeting moments, and at Playtime Portraits Plus, I’m committed to creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere where families can truly enjoy.
Tammy – Co-Founder & Lead Photographer
I’m Tammy, and from a young age, art and photography have been my greatest passions. After finishing Year 10, I pursued a career in photography and have since gained extensive experience across various fields, including weddings, family portraits, school events, and graduations. For the past 7 years, I’ve specialised in Christmas photography at shopping centres around Western Sydney, capturing the magic and joy of the season. As a mother of three daughters, I know firsthand how precious holiday memories are, and I love helping families create tangible keepsakes they’ll treasure. I’ve been working alongside Chett at Playtime Portraits for 8 years, and together, we’ve launched Playtime Portraits Plus to bring an even more magical Christmas experience to families. Our combined expertise and shared love for festive family moments make this business a dream come true.
Bettina – Administrative Assistant
Hi, I’m Bettina! I’m the Administrative Assistant here at Playtime Portraits Plus. I have a Certificate III in Business and a Diploma in Digital Media, which means I get to combine my organisational skills with my love for content creation. My work experience spans across retail and hospitality, where I developed a strong focus on customer satisfaction—something I’m passionate about bringing to every family’s experience with us.
I’ve been part of the Playtime Portraits team for 5 years, and I’m so excited to continue this journey with Playtime Portraits Plus. It’s a joy to help make the magic of Christmas come alive for our clients, and I can’t wait to support you in capturing memories you’ll cherish forever!
